In the past few years I've worked on a bunch of books with designer Rodrigo Corral. Last year, he asked me if there were any authors whose books needed repackaging. I mentioned George Saunders, who's Civil War Land In Bad Decline and Pastoralia were two of my favorite books.

Rodrigo pitched the repackaging idea to Saunders' editors at Riverhead / Penguin Books. They loved the concept, and invited us to come up with a cover for Saunders' new book, In Persuasion Nation, as well.

Riverhead really got into the project, and ended up doing a poster and web-site campaign for In Persuasion Nation and the re-issued paperbacks. Read these books.
